Mini Haul

I went shopping.....

This weekend I went and did some shopping. I was planning to only purchase Bioderma, but with my shopping obsession, that clearly wasn't going to happen.

I picked up the following items:
-Bioderma Solution Micellaire ($14.99 on sale)
-Benefit's Bella Bamba and Cha Cha tint (Hot 2 Trot Kit $38.00)
-L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain in #184 ($8.99)
-Rimmel 60 seconds Nail Polish in #530 ($2.50)

Bioderma

Beauty gurus have raved about this product. It is not available in the United States or the UK, but it is available in France and luckily for me, Canada (though it is much more costly here). Bioderma is a cleansing solution which is used to remove makeup from the face. I had my standards set high after hearing countless good reviews about this product and that standard was definitely met! My makeup was removed quickly without struggle and after a quick wash of the face, my skin was left feeling smooth.

Bella Bamba and Cha Cha Tint

I was originally looking to purchase Bella Bamba at Sephora, but when I saw it at Shopper's Drug Mart I couldn't stop myself. I didn't want to wait to purchase this product anymore, so I caved in. For only $2.00 more than the blush was selling for, I purchased one of Benefit's kits which included their Cha Cha tint.
Bella Bamba is defined as, "The triple dimension of pink... brightening,sculpting and defining." This blush has a nice watermelon colour to it and when applied to your cheeks, it leaves a beautiful shimmer. I have not yet tried the Cha Cha tint but it is a mango-coloured lip and cheek stain.

L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Wet Shine Stain

This product is a lip stain that leaves a glossy finish. I purchased the colour "Rose On and On", number 184. It has that sticky feel that some lip glosses leave, but it is not a sticky feel that I can't stand. In fact, I like it! The wear on this product was quite good, lasting about 4-ish hours without re-applying, and I ate in the meantime! For a drugstore product I am quite happy. Some say they are comparable to the YSL Glossy Stains but I have yet to try the YSL product.

Rimmel "60 Seconds" Nail Polish

While scanning the aisle for more stuff I didn't need, this little bottle of nail polish caught my eye. It is in the colour "Pulsating" which is a fuchsia with an almost blue, metallic sheen to it. It does dry in 60 seconds but only if you apply one coat. If you do a full out manicure with this guy it won't live up to its claimed drying time. It's brush is flat and wide which makes for easy application. Being only $2.50 it's quality is not the best. It does chip after a couple days. Overall, I am happy. The colour is lovely and for the amount of times I change my nail polish in a week, it's wear time doesn't bother me.
